9/11

People falling from the sky,

People dying day and night,

Many suffer,

Many die,

Many people cry and cry.

 

News travels at the speed of light,

Shocking many in its path,

Breaking hearts,

Killing hopes,

Brace yourself for disgraceful jokes.

 

The sound of the explosion brings many to their knees,

The famous landmark collapses before our eyes,

The bill to America is on the rise,

As many years of work,

Tumbles, tumbles, down.

 

Taste the fear in the air,

Smell the ignited fire of anger,

Burning lives,

Crushing happiness,

Killing, the innocent.
